reunited for its French premiere on Monday night.<\/li>\n<li>This is the fourth and final installment in the &#8220;Bridget Jones&#8221; franchise.<\/li>\n<li>Here&#8217;s how the cast looked at the premiere, 23 years after the first film.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Upon its release nearly 24 years ago, &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/bridget-joness-diary-interesting-things-to-know\" rel=\"noopener\">Bridget Jones&#8217;s Diary<\/a>&#8221; became, against all odds, a phenomenon, making over $334 million at the box office and spawning an entire franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow, this distinctly British character was performed perfectly by a Texan actor named Ren\u00e9e Zellweger, then best known for playing the love interest in &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/best-movie-couples-all-time-on-screen-pairs-ranked\" rel=\"noopener\">Jerry Maguire.<\/a>&#8221; Her performance was lauded by fans around the world and even earned her an Academy Award nomination for best actress in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>Two decades later, almost the entire cast of the original film has reunited for a fourth movie, &#8220;Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.&#8221; school.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old is best known for his roles in the second season of &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/the-white-lotus-season-two-cringeworthy-moments-2022-12\" rel=\"noopener\">The White Lotus<\/a>&#8221;
